O`Brien well represented at Newmarket

Aidan O`Brien still had eight possibles after today`s latest forfeit stage for the Sagitta 2000 Guineas at Newmarket on Saturday week.

Middle Park Stakes winner Minardi and National Stakes hero Beckett were among the 33 remaining entries for the mile classic.

Godolphin`s ante-post favourite Tobougg is joined by four stablemates - Rumpold, West Order, Noverre and the unraced Devine Task.

Saturday`s Greenham Stakes victor, the Barry Hills-trainer Munir, stands his ground, as do the next four home -Frenchmans Bay, Imperial Dancer, Tamburlaine and Patsy`s Double.

John Gosden has kept his options open with Free Handicap winner Clearing, who is reportedly more likely to take his chance in the French equivalent.

Henry Cecil is without a representative in this year`s contest but has Quick To Please among 28 remaining entries in the following afternoon`s Sagitta 1000 Guineas.

However, it is Sir Michael Stoute who appears to hold the strongest hand at this stage.

His trio consists of Karasta, the unbeaten Regal Rose and Lowther Stakes winner Enthused.

Godolphin have left Muwakleh, the winner of the UAE 1000 Guineas, and former John Hills inmate, Tempting Fate, in the first fillies` Classic of the season.
